
Shreveport Woman Arrested for Device Fraud of Over $10,000
Shreveport Police Department have arrested a a suspect wanted in connection with an ongoing financial crimes investigation.
Following an investigation that began in 2024, SPD Detectives received documentation from the victim indicating that the suspect, identified as Shamariah Jacobs, committed the offense of Access Device Fraud.
As SPD Detectives continued their investigation, it was discovered that the fraudulent activity involved more than $100,000 in transactions.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Shamariah Jacobs in connection with this case.
Following a lengthy search, Jacobs was arrested by Shreveport Police and was taken to Caddo Correctional Center.
Fraud is a problem in our community, and Shreveport Police are working hard to bring perpetrators to justice. SPD urges anyone with information on fraudulent activity to contact them immediately.
