Shreveport Police Arrest Four for Domestic Violence
Shreveport Police have been working tirelessly to bring those who commit Domestic Violence to justice. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and these four arrests highlight the hard work SPD has been doing to help out.
On October 18, SPD arrested Christopher Browder. Browder has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Domestic Abuse Battery, and three counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance report in which Browder was said to be armed. He was arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
Also on October 18, officers arrested Frankie Clark, who has been charged with six counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, one count of False Imprisonment, and one count of Violation of a Protective Order. Officers were able to apprehend Clark before tragedy could occur.
On October 19, Rondicious Davis was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Battery and Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment.
Also on October 19th, officers made a traffic stop on Timothy Stewart. Stewart had eight outstanding warrants and was in possession of a firearm. Further investigation showed Stewart’s prior felony domestic violence convictions, which prohibit him from possessing a firearm. He was charged with Possession of a Firearm by an Individual Convicted of Domestic Abuse Battery.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department will continue to prioritize domestic violence investigations and enforcement efforts to protect victims and reduce the number of families affected by these dangerous crimes."
