Shreveport Police are on the hunt for two men for forging checks at a local liquor store

Back in September,  two men identified as Samuel Thomas and Jacaray Roebuck walked into Thrifty Liquor on Pines Road and turned in checks that  came back as altered and worthless

.Detectives went over the surveillance footage and were able to determine that Thomas and Roebuck were the ones issuing the checks to the store.

On 12/01/25, detectives issued warrants for Monetary Instrument Abuse, because unfortunately, “creative writing” isn’t a valid payment method.
