Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Flight and Battery on an Officer

Shreveport Police have arrested an Oklahoma man following a car chase and a battery on an Officer.

Shreveport Police Officers tried to pull Jason Spruell over in his car for a seatbelt violation, that escalated into a pursuit and assault on an officer.

The stop quickly turned into a felony when Spruell refused to comply with officers and
led them on a chase through the city. During the incident, Spruell punched an officer before being taken into custody.

Spruell now faces multiple charges, including:

• Aggravated Flight from an Officer

• Battery of a Police Officer

• Resisting an Officer
