Shreveport Police Arrest Three for Fleeing From Officers
Shreveport Police continue to remind motorists that fleeing from law enforcement is not worth the risk.
Over the weekend, Officers arrested Roderick Dewayne Parker following an incident in which he allegedly fled from law enforcement. Parker was charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Obstruction of a Highway of Commerce, and Resisting an Officer.

On Sunday, Officers arrested Laterreon Winslow after a separate pursuit. Winslow was charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Careless Operation, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle, and Littering.

That same weekend, Officers arrested Jordan Cannon following another incident involving a vehicle pursuit. Cannon was charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, Driving Without a License, and Illegal Purchase and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle.

From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department wants to emphasize that attempting to flee from officers can quickly turn a routine encounter into a felony offense with life-altering consequences. More importantly, these reckless actions endanger innocent members of our community. No traffic stop or misdemeanor offense is worth risking lives."
