Shreveport Felon Arrested With Guns and Drugs After Loud Fight
On Saturday afternoon, Shreveport Police were called to a disorderly person on Lakeshore Drive. SPD pulled up and found Joseph Brock standing in the doorway of what cops found out was an ex-girlfriend. Police grabbed Brock and cuffed him. A quick search turned up a hand gun.
Brock was trying to return things to his ex when a verbal fight broke out between them that got so loud that SPD was called.
Police searched Brock and was able to find much more than the hand gun, which he wasn't suppose to have because of prior felonies. 21 Ecstasy pills, 66 grams of marijuana, and a small bag containing a substance believed to be cocaine were found on Brock.
Brock was arrested on the following charges.
· Simple Assault
· Illegal Carrying of a Weapon
· Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substances
· Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substances
· Felon in Possession of a Firearm
While being processed, Police found that Brock had warrants out in another state. He was taken to the city jail, and is still behind bars.
