Shreveport Felon Caught With Gun Following Traffic Stop
At approximately 11:18 PM on October 12, 2024, Shreveport Police Department officers observed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of Murphy Street and Pete Harris Drive. Officers initiated a traffic stop, with the vehicle coming to a halt at Allen Avenue and Murphy Street.
The driver, identified as 48-year-old Zierich Snow (DOB: 9/28/76), was found to have active warrants for his arrest. During the course of the arrest, officers discovered that Snow was armed with a firearm. Further investigation revealed that he was prohibited from possessing a weapon due to a prior conviction for attempted second-degree murder.
Snow was taken into custody and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, multiple traffic violations, and the outstanding warrants.
