CPSO Detectives have arrested a Shreveport man following an investigation into a series of threats made on social media.

Yesterday, Detectives were shown several Facebook Live videos in which a man made  threats of violence toward three people, including public officials. Deputies started an investigation in to the severity of the threats.

The suspect was identified as 42 year-old Jhadryan Green of Shreveport. Detectives found that Green made repeated threats intended to instill fear and provoke violence.

His statements included references to shooting and assaulting the victims, as well as traveling to a specific location to carry out acts of harm. Authorities also documented simulated violent gestures during the broadcasts, along with continued harassment, degrading language, and attempts to encourage others to participate in or support the threats.

Green was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

-Terrorizing

-Hate crimes

-Cyberstalking

-Two counts of intimidation of a public official

He was then transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges.

From Sheriff Whitehorn:

"The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will not tolerate threats of violence against our community or public officials. We take these matters seriously and will act swiftly to ensure the safety of those we serve."
