
Shreveport Police Arrest Man on Gun and Drug Charges
In recent weeks, Shreveport Police Department got several complaints about gun and drug activity involving a man in South Shreveport.
Earlier this week, SPD with the help of CPSO were able to get a search warrant for the residence involved with the reported activity. As a result, SPD was able to arrest Vincent Rice.
Rice has been charged with:
· Possession of Schedule II with intent to distribute (two counts)
· Possession of Schedule I with intent to distribute
· Illegal carrying of weapons
During the search, officers found multiple pounds of marijuana, approximately 420 grams of methamphetamine, and additional Schedule II narcotics. Several firearms were also recovered.
