
Shreveport Man Arrested for Domestic Violence and Home Invasion
Shreveport Police have arrested a repeat domestic violence offender following multiple incidents involving home invasion and violence in the presence of children.
Twice in February, the victim reported that her ex-boyfriend forcefully entered her home and committed acts of violence against her.
During the first incident, the suspect tore off the victim’s screen door before beating her inside the home while her three children were present.
Later that same month, the suspect returned and once again forced his way into the residence, where he committed more acts of violence against the victim.
Following a thorough investigation, Shreveport Police detectives submitted arrest warrants for Demonte Small. The man was charged with:
- (3) Counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
Earlier this week, the suspect was taken into custody by the Shreveport Police Department Warrants Unit.
