Shreveport Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Involving a Gun
Detectives with the Shreveport Police Domestic Violence Unit have arrested 31-year-old Lamarcus Netter on charges of aggravated property damage, illegal use of a weapon, and battery of a dating partner. Netter is accused of firing a weapon at a female while she was in a vehicle in the 100 block of E. Olive St. on May 29, 2024. Fortunately, the woman only received minor injuries in the incident.
Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith encourages all victims of domestic incidents to seek help immediately. "We urge anyone experiencing domestic violence to reach out to law enforcement or support services. Your safety is our top priority," said Chief Smith.
