Police were called to Raspberry Lane back in March to reports of domestic violence. While SPD was investigating, the found that Ronnie Phillips was suspected of pulling a gun and strangling his girlfriend during a heated verbal argument.

Shreveport Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit was called in to help with the investigation, and the hunt for Phillips was on.

Detectives were able to get enough evidence against Phillips to get a warrant for his arrest. Late last week, SPD was finally able to catch-up with Phillips and arrest him.
