
Shreveport Man Arrested for Domestic Abuse, Drugs, and Guns
On Monday, Shreveport Police Department were called out to an apartment complex on Millicent Way for a report of domestic abuse.
The caller said that her boyfriend Lee'trevis Reed was physically assaulting her. She also stated that Reed was known to carry a gun, and that the abuse happened in front of her child.
The woman said that her and her child locked themselves in a room in the apartment out of fear that the abuse would continue. They remained locked in the room until SPD showed up.
When Police got to the scene they were able to find and arrest Reed. While Police were arresting Reed, they found that he had a handgun and a large amount of drugs. Police were able to secure the gun and drugs and added the extra charges to the list.
Reed was charged with the following:
· One count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
· One count of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Narcotic
· One count of Illegal Possession of a Firearm
