Shreveport Police on the hunt for a brutal domestic violence suspect.

On January 15th, 2025 SPD got a call from a woman saying that her boyfriend had assaulted her. When police got to the scene the distressed woman laid out the brutally violent situation she just endured.

The woman claimed that her boyfriend, during an apparent nasty fight, pushed her against a wall. As the fight continued, the brutality took a wild turn when the woman said her boyfriend bit her face.

The saddest part of the story came when the woman said that all of this happened in front of her 5-year-old son.

After taking the woman's statement, and seeing the physical evidence, police were able to get a warrant out for Willis Chadman “Chad” Gipson on the following charges:

· Battery of a Dating Partner – Child Endangerment Law

· Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault
