Shreveport Police Seeking Copper Wire Thief for Felony Theft
Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a burglary at Caddo Iron & Supply.
Last month, Officers with SPD responded to a burglary report at the business located on Mansfield Road. The complainant told Officers that an unknown male entered the property by climbing over a wall to gain access to the business.
The victim was able to provide SPD with surveillance images of the suspect before the man reportedly cut the wires connected to the surveillance system.
During the burglary, approximately 300 to 400 pounds of insulated copper wiring, valued at roughly $1,500, was stolen from the business.
Shreveport Police are now asking for the community’s help in identifying the individual responsible for this theft.
From SPD:
"Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding this case is urged to contact Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward."
