
Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Chasing Woman With a Knife
Last week, Shreveport Police responded to a call on Cotton Street where a man was reported to be chasing a woman while armed with a knife.
The victim told SPD the man approached her asking for money. When she refused, he pulled a knife, threatened her, and chased her while still wielding the knife.
SPD was able to track down and find Joshua Hogue, who was still in possession of the knife, and took him into custody. SPD were able to quickly get Hogue with the help of the Real Time Crime Center He has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

"Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) cameras played a critical role, providing footage that confirmed the suspect’s actions and helped officers quickly verify what occurred. This incident is another example of how RTCC technology is helping officers respond faster, make safer decisions, and remove violent offenders from our streets.
