
Help Shreveport Police Catch This Shooting Suspect
UPDATE: On February 24, 2025, Fisher voluntarily surrendered himself at Caddo Correctional Center. The suspect has since posted bond.
Shreveport Police are on the hunt for a suspect who shot someone following an argument.
The shooting took place on February 9th on Old Mooringsport Road. Police pulled up responding to the shooting and found the victim. The man told SPD that he was helping JaMarcus Fisher with his car when an argument broke out. At some point in the fight Fisher pulled a gun on the victim and shot several times.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and was treated for his gunshot wounds.
After checking with witnesses and taking the victim's statement SPD were able to get an arrest warrant for Fisher for 2nd Degree Aggravated Battery for intentionally causing bodily injury with a dangerous weapon

"Fisher is currently wanted, and authorities are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Shreveport Police Department.
Anyone who may have seen Fisher or knows his location is encouraged to call SPD at 673-7300 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
Your assistance is vital in helping authorities locate this suspect and bring him to justice."
