Man Wanted for Burglary and Protective Violation in Shreveport

Shreveport Police are seeking the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a residential burglary and violation of a protective order.

An investigation showed that Michael R. Ghoston entered a home on Milton Street illegally and took a 75-inch TV and speaker system without permission. The incident was caught on video, and the suspect was identified by the victim.

SPD determined that Ghoston was under an active protective order prohibiting him from being within 100 yards of the victim’s residence. An order Ghoston had acknowledged by signature. Despite this, Ghoston knowingly violated the order and stole the TV and speakers.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ghoston for these charges:

· Simple Burglary

· Violation of a Protective Order

Ghoston is considered wanted at this time.
