
Shreveport Man Arrested for Car Burglary and Gun Possession
Shreveport Police officers responded to a vehicle burglary in progress on Fairfield Avenue.
When SPD got to the scene, they learned the suspect had fled on foot. K-9 Unit, Officers established a perimeter and located the suspect hiding beneath a porch on Maryland Street.
The suspect, identified as Keshawn Grady, resisted commands from SPD but was eventually taken into custody.
Officers found Grady was in possession of a firearm and had been involved in multiple vehicle burglaries in the area. Stolen belongings of the victim were also found in Grady's possession.
Grady was taken to the Shreveport City Jail, facing charges of Aggravated Burglary, Resisting an Officer, Illegal Use of a Weapon, and Negligent Carrying of a Firearm.
