Shreveport Man Wanted for Breaking in to a Relative's Home

Shreveport Police are keeping their eyes peeled for a man with some apparent anger problems.

On February 3rd, 2025, Police got a call about a break-in of a Shreveport home. The person told police that a relative of theirs had broken their door down, badly damaging the house during some kind of altercation.

The info given to Police was enough to put out a warrant on Michael Hayes pictured above. Hayes is wanted for Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and one count of Criminal Damage to Property.

From SPD:

"Anyone with information regarding Michael Hayes’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373."
