
Cool Down Shreveport: Your Guide to Summer Swimming 2025
SHREVEPORT, LA - We will be dealing with sweltering temps over the next few days and that might have you dreaming about jumping in a nice cool swimming pool. Shreveport and Bossier City will be opening the public pools later this month.
Shreveport Pool Schedule for 2025
Southern Hills pool opens on May 26.
All the other pools open on May 27.
There is even better news for Shreveport this year. A whole new pool has been built at the Bill Cockrell Park on Pines Road and it will open this year.
The other pools at Airport Park, David Raines, and Querbes pools will also be open this summer.
What Are the Shreveport Pool Hours?
Tuesday- Friday 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The cost to swim in the Shreveport pools is $2.50/per person. It's $3.50/per person at the Southern Hills pool which includes the slide.
Bossier Pool Schedule for 2025
Mike Wood pool opens on May 27th.
The Shed Road pool will not be opening this year. It is being converted into a splash pad.

Monday - Saturday: 12:00PM - 5:00PM
Sunday: CLOSED
Shreveport and Bossier Splash Pads Are Now Open

Airport Park - 6500 Kennedy Drive
David Raines - 2920 Round Grove Lane
Hattie Perry - 4300 Ledbetter
Lakeside - 2200 Milam Street
Querbes - 3500 Beverly Place
A.C. Steere Park - 4009 Youree Drive
And, we hope the splash pad at the Riverfront is expected to open next month.

Hooter Neighborhood Community Park 1520 Hooter Drive
Mitchell Neighborhood Park 1518 Cox Street
North Bossier Park/Brownlee Park 4307 Brownlee Road
The splash pads are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and water shoes are recommended.
