Shreveport Teen Arrested for Possession of Automatic Weapon

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Shreveport Police Department officers were dispatched to 6479 Oak Valley Drive in response to a report of shots fired.

Upon entering the residence, officers discovered multiple firearms and found several individuals attempting to hide throughout the home. The Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT) was called to assist in securing the scene and conducting a thorough investigation.

As a result, Joe White (19) was arrested and charged with:

· Possession of a Machine Gun,

· Illegal Use of a Weapon, and

· Narcotics Possession.
