
Shreveport Attempted Murder Suspect Wanted by Police
The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 21-year-old Lamya Bailey, who is wanted for Attempted Second Degree Murder following a shooting incident that occurred on October 14, 2024.
At approximately 12:16 AM on October 14, SPD detectives were alerted to a shooting victim who had just arrived at a local hospital via private vehicle. Officers responded to the scene and connected the shooting to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of the Duck Pond, located in the 1100 block of E. Kings Highway. Due to the victim's serious condition, he was subsequently transferred to Ochsner LSU Health for further treatment.
In response to the ongoing investigation, SPD Violent Crimes detectives have obtained a warrant for Lamya Bailey in connection with the shooting.
