Shreveport At-Work Stabbing Leads to Arrest
A violent fight between two co-workers at Calumet Packaging ended with one man being hospitalized for multiple stab wounds.
Caddo Sheriff's deputies were called to Calumet Packaging around 4 p.m. Thursday (11/ afternoon. According to investigators, employees Charles C. Colbert, 24, and Billie Reynolds, 56, got into a work-related argument, which led to a physical fight. During the fight, Reynolds produced a knife and viciously stabbed Colbert multiple times in the arm, face, side, and back. Colbert was taken by ambulance to Ochsner LSU Health where he was treated for non-life threatening, but gruesome injuries.
Reynolds turned himself in to police a short while later at the Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for aggravated second-degree battery.
