Shreveport Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault Following Harassment
Over the weekend, Shreveport Police responded to Stevens Street in reference to a suspicious person complaint.
When SPD got to the scene, they found the female victim who told them that an unknown man approached her on a motorcycle. The suspect tried to strike-up a conversation, and when the victim declined, he pulled what appeared to be a gun and made threatening remarks, including referencing human trafficking.
SPD investigators began working the case, and photographs of the suspect were posted on social media. The man was identified as Fabian Ealy, who was also recognized by Shreveport Police as a suspect in another harassment incident that happened on Busby Street.
Later that same evening, SPD found Ealy on a motorcycle on Stoner Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident. During the arrest, Officers found a pellet gun that looked like a real pistol. The orange safety tip had been removed, making the weapon appear nearly identical to a real gun.
Ealy has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault.
Police found that he also has outstanding warrants out of Bossier Parish and is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to prior felony convictions.
