
Shreveport Man Arrested for Assault in Neighbor Dispute
Last week, Shreveport Police were called to East Robinson Street to reports of an assault.
When SPD got to the scene, they found the victim, who told Officers that he had been in a dispute with his neighbor, 30 year-old Kappy Joe III, about a parking spot on the street. While the men were arguing, Joe allegedly turned the yelling and arguing toward the victim's wife.
The victim is said to have tried to intervene to protect his wife, and when he did Joe punched him in the face, causing him to lose two teeth.
Officers located Joe and were able to place him under arrest for Second Degree Battery. During the the investigation, SPD also found that Joe had an outstanding warrant from Harris County, Texas. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
