
Shreveport Police Arrests Four on Separate Gun Charges
Over the weekend, Shreveport Police Department was hard at work taking guns off the streets and out of the hands of criminals.
On Friday, SPD executed a search warrant that resulted in an arrest with multiple charges. Police searched the house of Lakisha Fisher, and found a huge amount of drugs and a firearm. Fisher is now looking at charges of production, manufacturing, and distribution of narcotics. Also, illegally carrying a firearm.
On Sunday night, SPD made a traffic stop that led to the arrest of Nicholas Bryant and Devon Price. Both men were found to be armed with guns inside the car, and Police found out they were both convicted felons. Bryant had a prior conviction of aggravated assault with a firearm in 2023, and Price had a 2021 conviction for possession of a stolen firearm.
At 1am on Sunday, another traffic stop led to the arrest of James Hampton. Hampton was in possession of a handgun and was confirmed to be a convicted felon due to a 2024 conviction of possession of a stolen firearm.
