Shreveport Man Arrested in Connection to Recent Shooting

Shreveport Police Department has arrested 29-year-old Quadiere Thomas in connection with the shooting incident that occurred at Gilbert and Wall Street on April 20.

At approximately 4:15 a.m., officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, officers found individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were promptly transported to a local area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Quadiere Thomas was apprehended at the scene after being found armed in close proximity to the incident. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Thomas on one count of illegal use of a weapon. However, the investigation into this case remains ongoing.
