
Shreveport Police Arrest Two Men While Executing a Search Warrant
Last Thursday morning, Shreveport Police's Violent Crimes Abatement Team arrested two people after executing a search warrant on a house on Wyngate Boulevard.
SPD searched the house, but the vehicle was missing along with the occupants. Later that morning, SPD spotted the car and attempted to pull it over. as Police approached the car, the passenger, Dajuan Moore, opened the door and ran away. Officers chased him to Huntington Lane where he was caught.
The driver, Brandon Martin, was arrested after officers found marijuana in the car.
Moore was arrested and charged with the following:
-Fugitive warrants
-(2) counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm
-Resisting an Officer
-Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance
-Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance
Martin was charged with:
-Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance
-Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
