Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Gun Possession
Late last month Shreveport Police got a call from the Hustler Club about a man who would not leave a ride-share driver's car.
When Police pulled up in the parking lot the driver directed them to the car where the man was still sitting. When Police started asking the man Miloud Bouamama questions he said he had no gun on him. However before SPD approached him a man told them that he had a gun on him. Police searched him and found that Bouamama had a gun in the pocket of his sweatshirt.
Police checked the cameras at the club and found that he had the gun inside, and had taken it out a few times throughout the night.
Bouamama was found to have warrants out on him for resisting an officer and public intoxication. He was arrested and charged with illegal carrying of weapons and possession of a firearm on the premises of an alcohol-selling establishment.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to ensuring the safety of the community and will continue to enforce laws prohibiting firearms in establishments where alcohol is served."
