Shreveport Police Arrest Two for Domestic Violence

The Shreveport Police Department were able to make two arrests over the weekend for domestic violence.

On Friday, Samuel Smith was arrested for one count of domestic abuse by strangulation and three counts of domestic abuse with child endangerment.

Also on Friday, Lamar Brown was arrested for one count of domestic abuse aggravated assault.

These arrests were unrelated and separate incidents. The Shreveport Police Department is working hard to deal with this growing problem of domestic violence in out city. SPD is urging the public to come forward if you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence.
