Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Domestic Strangulation

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 24-year-old Christian Harris in connection with a domestic incident that occurred on August 30th, 2024, around 6:15 PM in the 700 block of Hyde Park Place.

Harris has been charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Strangulation, one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, and multiple outstanding traffic warrants.

Fortunately, the victim in this case is expected to recover. The Shreveport Police Department urges all victims of domestic violence to seek help. There is support available, and you do not have to face this alone.
