Shreveport Police Arrest Man Suspected of Armed Robbery

Late Monday night, Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of an armed individual in the 2800 block of Essex Street. At approximately 11:32 p.m., officers arrived on the scene and arrested 37-year-old Jerry James. Upon investigation, James was found to have committed an armed robbery, targeting individuals in the area.

Shreveport Police remind the community that acts of violence, such as armed robbery, will not be tolerated. Offenders who engage in such criminal behavior will be swiftly apprehended and face the full consequences of the law.
