Shreveport Man Arrested for Brandishing a Gun at a Bar
At approximately 11:48 a.m. on April 5, Shreveport Police Patrol officers responded to a concerning report of an armed individual inside of a bar in the 3000 block of Girard Street, at “The Cub.” The call indicated a white male, reportedly armed with a firearm, had been sighted within the establishment.
Upon arrival, officers encountered the individual identified as 22-year-old Logan Aymami. Witnesses informed authorities that Aymami had been seen within the bar, demanding to speak with the owner while allegedly referencing his carrying a handgun.
Logan Aymami has since been taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including:
- One count of negligent carrying of a concealed handgun
- One count of illegal carrying of weapons
- One count of illegal possession of a weapon in a bar or nightclub
- One count of criminal trespass
- One count of obstruction of passage
Despite the severity of the charges, it is important to note that none of the offenses are classified as violent offenses under Louisiana state law. As such, a photograph of the suspect is not available for public release.
