
Shreveport Man Arrested as Suspect in 2024 Home Invasion
Shreveport Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a violent home invasion that occurred on November 24, 2024, in the 2800 block of Gloria Drive.
On the day of the incident, officers responded to a report of an armed person and discovered a female victim bleeding from the mouth and a residence showing significant damage. An investigation revealed that Jacoby Kinsey had forced his way into the home by physically pushing down the complainant. During the attack, Kinsey also threw a toy through the front window, causing further damage to the property.
Kinsey reportedly threatened multiple individuals at the residence with a firearm before fleeing the scene. Despite extensive efforts, officers were unable to locate him immediately after the incident.
A warrant was subsequently issued, charging him with:
· One count of Home Invasion
· Multiple counts of Child Endangerment
· Property Damage
On January 13, 2025, Kinsey was taken into custody by the Shreveport Police Department’s Warrants Unit, with assistance from the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office.
