Shreveport Man Wanted for Felony Retail Theft

Shreveport Police are on the lookout for a man who is wanted for repeated retail thefts.

SPD was called to the Dollar General on Martin Luther King Drive to reports of ongoing theft. According to a store representative, Tony Carver was observed stealing from the store on several different occasions. SPD went over camera footage from the store and were able to confirm Carver's identity.

Police looked in to Carver's criminal history and saw that he has two prior convictions involving theft. This qualifies Carver to be tried as a habitual offender under Louisiana Law.

Shreveport Police are urging anyone from the public with information to contact them immediately.

"Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tony Carver is urged to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward."
