Shreveport Man Wanted for Hitting Woman in Front of a Juvenile

UPDATE: Anderson has been arrested.

The Shreveport Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for a domestic battery and violating a protective order.

Demarcus Anderson is wanted in connection with a domestic violence investigation involving an alleged assault that occurred while a protection order was in place.

During the investigation, SPD Detectives learned that Anderson ran up to the victim’s car and allegedly grabbed and punched the victim while a child under the age of 13 was in the car with her.

Anderson is currently wanted for:

· Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

· Violation of a Protection Order with Battery

"The Shreveport Police Department takes domestic violence seriously, especially when protective orders and children are involved. Protection orders exist for a reason, and violating them with violence will not be tolerated.
