Shreveport Police Seeking Hit-And-Run Suspect
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s crash investigations unit are asking the public’s help to identify a man who committed two hit and run crashes on the police station parking lot in early August.
On Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, a white male driving a black Nissan Titan pickup truck pulled into the patrol desk parking lot of the Shreveport Police Department, parked in a parking spot, and exited his vehicle. He went to the patrol desk door and then turned around and went back to his vehicle. As he backed up to leave, he backed into another car. He got out and contacted the female driver, who turned to go get an officer. When the lady walked toward the patrol desk to contact an officer the man quickly returned to his vehicle, drove across a curb, hit an unmarked police car, and fled eastbound on Texas Avenue.
Police are asking anyone with information that can help identify this driver to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 #3. Those wishing to submit a tip anonymously are asked to contact Caddo Shreveport Crime Stoppers via their website P3tips.com, their app P3Tips, or by telephone at 318-673-7373. Crime Stoppers pays cash for tips and as always, they will never ask for your name, only your information.
