Man Arrested Following Shooting at a Shreveport Trailer Park
A STRANGE shooting case for Shreveport Police on Monday (2/24/25).
After 10:20 PM SPD showed up to the scene of a shots-fired call on Lynwood Avenue. Officers said when they pulled up they could see a man running in to some woods behind a trailer park. When Police caught up to the guy, he said he was hiding because someone was shooting at him.
The man told SPD he just got off work and was meeting someone at the trailer park, when a guy in a black mask approached him. The masked man was screaming at the victim, then pulled a gun and started shooting. The victim avoided being shot by running and ducking behind cars and trailers.
SPD started investigating and interviewing witnesses, and were able to figure out Kyle Ardoin was the one responsible.
Police searched the trailer park and were able to find Ardoin inside of a trailer.
From SPD:
"Ardoin has been charged with one count of illegal use of a weapon and one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The Shreveport Police Department remains committed to ensuring the safety of our community and holding individuals accountable for acts of violence."
