
Shooting in Shreveport Leads to Attempted Murder Arrest

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police officers make arrest in domestic shooting incident
On March 1st, 2024, around 10:28 a.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted about a report of a carjacking in the 1800 block of Oakdale Circle.
Shreveport Police Patrol officers were informed that the caller was on the side of the road with the victim and several small children. Officers arrived and found that the victim was in a vehicle with Gregory Underwood when a domestic incident occurred. Underwood reportedly produced a firearm and forced the women and children out of the vehicle. Underwood reportedly fired a shot at the victim before driving away.
After responding officers conducted their investigation officers located Underwood. 29-year-old Underwood was arrested and charged with three counts of Domestic abuse aggravated assault and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
