With record amounts of rainfall already in the Ark-La-Tex and still more to come in the next two days, I think it's safe to say that we've got a serious weather situation on our hands.

So far we've seen homes in Tall Timbers in Haughton with water to their roof lines, roads simply sinking and disappearing in Minden, a lake of water on Caplis Sligo Road in Southern Bossier Parish and more. Please be safe! If you don't have to drive, stay home and we'll keep you up to date!

Facebook and other social media outlets are teaming with pictures and video of flooding right here in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Make sure to send your pictures and videos to us so we can help keep everyone up to date!

Annette Boyer shared the following video from Caplis Sligo Road in Bossier Parish today and I'm not going to lie, the amount of water is simply overwhelming!

We received the following picture from Micah Loe this morning. It's a picture of road off of Hwy 79 in Minden.

Here's more video from Annette Boyer from Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier

A neighbor shot Gary this video a little bit ago from Princeton Road in Princeton, LA. You can see Princeton Elementary in the background if you look closely. This is right down from the Calumet plant on Hwy 157.

These two pictures are from the Bossier Sheriff's Office Facebook page of Tall Timbers subdivision off of Hwy 80 in Haughton, LA
