Sausage Recall You Might Want to Know About
Check your fridge if you're a fan of jalapeno cheddar smoked sausage. Johnsonville is recalling 95,000 pounds of sausage that may be contaminated with plastic.
This recall involves 14-ounce packages of Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage. The packages may contain hard green plastic. The product have a best buy date of June 9, 2019 on the package and an establishment number of EST. 34224 in the USDA mark of inspection.
If you have purchased this product, you are urged to throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it. There have been no reports of injury or illness related to this product.
The sausage products were packaged on March 12 and 13 of this year.
