A local non-profit that offers low-cost spay and neuter services is changing locations. Spokeswoman Freda Powell says Robinson's Rescue is moving from its East Kings location -- to the 2500 block of Line Avenue. And it's all thanks to the doctors at the Shreveport Eye Clinic, who donated the land and buildings to the organization. Powell says there are still lots of renovations that need to be done at the new location, and those are scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. But it's going to be a costly endeavor -- so any donations you can make are appreciated. Once it's finished, the new site will include surgical facilities and a small dog park at the corner of Line and Robinson. A grand opening ceremony will be planned for January.
