Red River Boat Ramps Closed

Weekend rain in the Red River watershed is causing the river's level to rise.  

That's prompted the Red River Waterway Commission to temporarily close the four public boat launches here in northwest Louisiana.  The Teague Parkway, Stoner Avenue, North Caddo/Bossier, and Bishop Point boat launches will remain closed until water levels drop and the commission determines that they're safe to use again.  The closings do not effect private marinas.
