Public Meeting Set to Discuss Shreveport’s Proposed Garbage Pick-up Fee

Shreveport City Council Chairman Willie Bradford has called a "Special Budget Meeting" for next week.

The specific focus on this meeting is to receive input from the public regarding the proposed Solid Waste Enterprise Fund and $12 fee for garbage collection.

The meeting will be held in the Mayor's large conference room located on the 2nd floor of Government Plaza, at 505 Travis Street. It's set for Tuesday, October 18, at 5 p.m.
