Public Boat Launches Re-Opened

All but one of the public boat ramps on the Red are now open again and the Red River Waterway Commission says that one -- in far northern Caddo Parish -- should re-open tomorrow. However, the Commission says some of the ramps may have to be closed again, temporarily, as water levels continue to fall and more sand and debris have to be cleaned up. And, the Commission is urging boaterss to use caution when launching into the current and be aware of obstacles like trees and sandbars when navigating the river.
