The thaw is starting today across north Louisiana, but the cleanup is still the order of the day in several communities. Swepco crews have fanned out across the region to restore power to those in the dark during these frigid temps.

DeSoto Parish 4,321 without power

Sabine Parish 5,797 without power

Natchitoches Parish 1,853 without power

Swepco set up a command center in Natchitoches to be closer to some of the hardest hit areas. They also sent up drones to get a sky view of some of the damage.
