Join the Krewes of Gemini and Centaur for the official kick off to the Mardi Gras season Saturday night starting at 6:30pm at the Bossier Civic Center! Tickets are $50 and include a bottomless drink cup. The event is open to the public and will include a presentation of all the area krewes' royalty. 21+

Head to the Shreveport Convention Center this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the O'Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels! Friday, January 5,  5 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday, January 6, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and Sunday, January 7, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Adult admission is $12 per day, Child (6-11) $6 per day Child (5 & under) free.

Strap on your running shoes and bundle up Saturday morning at 8am for the Philadelphia Center's Resolution Run at Shreveport's Betty Virginia Park. Post-race bring your race bib to Great Raft Brewing Tasting Room and get $1 off your first pint!

If you're an aspiring singer, get ready for The Cut 2018! Auditions are this Sunday from 1-5pm at The Supper Club on Commerce Street in downtown Shreveport. Your group can have a maximum of three members so bring your instrument or track of choice to sing to and you could secure a spot performing at Mudbug Madness 2019!
