Repeat Offender Arrested for Organized Theft at Shreveport Lowe’s
Earlier this week, Shreveport Police were able to arrest a repeat offender and charge two others involved in an organized theft of hundreds of dollars worth of stuff.
One of those arrested was Tamira Caldwell. She was taken in following multiple thefts from a Shreveport Lowe's, but SPD found out that she is a habitual offender with several theft and fraud priors.
Back in January, security footage revealed that Caldwell and two accomplices stole around $770 worth of merchandise from Lowe's, and SPD want businesses to let them know if Caldwell has stolen from them.
Caldwell's history of theft and fraud include:
· 20 prior theft-related arrests
· 15 convictions across three jurisdictions
· Multiple arrests for issuing worthless checks
Caldwell's accomplices Jacolby Foster and Vikeshia Murray were also identified through security footage. Both of them were already locked-up at Caddo Correctional Center for unrelated charges. Now they'll be facing other charges while sitting in jail.
· Foster has been charged with two counts of Felony Theft (LA RS 14:67) as a habitual offender
· Murray has been charged with one count of Felony Theft, also as a habitual offender
SPD want to know from retailers in the area if you can identify Caldwell as someone who has stolen from your business in the past. Police want you to contact the immediately if you have footage:
"If you have information regarding Tamira Caldwell or believe your business has been affected, please contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. Tips may be submitted anonymously and could be eligible for a reward."
