In his 2006 autobiography, 'The Audacity of Hope: Thought On reclaiming the American Dream', President Barack Obama declared that an influx of illegal immigrants will harm 'the wages of blue-collar Americans' and 'put strains on an already overburdened safety net.'

He went on to say that many whites and blacks share the same anxieties about immigrants flooding the country's southern border. Obama also said, 'Not all these fears are irrational.'

The President, who has announced publicly plans to give amnesty to at least five million illegals via executive order, also wrote that he feels 'patriotic resentment' when he sees Mexican flags at immigration rallies.
